Forward Stride is Oregon's largest therapeutic equestrian center. As the Portland/Vancouver metropolitan area's only nationally accredited center, you can be assured of high levels of program quality, safety and horse care.

Through our wellness classes and innovative therapeutic equine programs, Forward Stride enables each individual to blossom with confidence and independence. Our youngest clients are 2 years old and our oldest client celebrated her 95 th birthday with Forward Stride.

Meeting new people sometimes scares Michael and Daniel Ballard, 5-year-old twins who have autism. But horses they can handle. Last year, when their parents took them on a meet-and-greet to Forward Stride, a nonprofit therapeutic riding organization then in Wilsonville, the boys shocked their parents by petting the animals.
